Description

Mild steel (steel containing a small percentage of carbon, strong and tough but not readily tempered), also known as plain-carbon steel plates, is now the most common form of steel because its price is relatively low while it provides material properties that are acceptable for many applications. Mild Steel Coils is less brittle than stainless steel. It can be further strengthened through the addition of carbon. MS Coils contains less than 0.25 percent carbon which makes it more ductile and less hard thus rendering it unsuitable for structural work.
